The Aware Show

The Aware Show was created by Lisa Garr around 2000. Started as teleseminar broadcasting, Lisa has hosted an hour of programming featuring best-selling authors and experts in the fields of natural health and personal growth. The program covers the topics of greatest interest to the audience: stress management, healthy foods, healing relationships, parenting tools, business coaching, "green" technologies, and much more.  In the past ten years Lisa has interviewed the following experts in body-mind-spirit subjects:

Most contents of the program are in good quality.  Many of them provide good introductions and then push for product sales.  In this case, The Aware Show serves as an affiliate program portal.  Its website states clearly that it is an affiliate for providers of goods and services mentioned on this website.  The owner may be compensated when you purchase after clicking on a link. The owner may also have received the product for free.  For internet business, The Aware Show is a successful affiliate income model.

The Aware Show's broadcasting is delivered usng InfoQuick teleseminar model and handled by Brad Codd, president of InfoQuick.  Recently Lisa Garr decided to dump the teleseminar model and move on to TV platform, that has made Brad Codd really mad.  Brad Codd has sent "Farewell Lisa Garr..." emails to Lisa Garr's mailing list without her permission. It is quite a conflict.

The Aware Show airs on KPFK 90.7 FM (one of the largest radio stations west of the Mississippi) from 1:00-2:00 PM Pacific Time, Wednesday and Thursday. The program is also heard on KTLK AM 1150 from 9:30-10:00 AM Pacific Time, Sunday.

Body Mind Spirit Directory

Although the site headline claims coverage of  conscious living , holistic health , natural healing , spirituality and  green resources, it is mainly a geographical based directory for practitioners (healers, coaches, etc.) across U.S. states and cities.  This site's profits are from home page's Google AdSense and Google Search.  The comprehensive categories on the home page are not hyper-linked, thus users have to use AdSense's Search box to find info.  The Expo page provides handy info for recent events on body-mind-spirit related interests. For those who are interested in building metaphysics directories, this site may be studied as an example of geographical based, practitioners centered directory.  It seems this site was built early using non-standard web technologies.  Both presentation and functionality are less perfect.  The no-link category design in home page  is a big drawback.
